Project BackUp description

Project BackUp is very simple freeware tool for creating the backup copy of your files (documents, source code files, databases and others).

Project BackUp only creates the ZIP archive from selected files. There is no extracting function in this software. For ZIP extracting use the special tools, like WinZIP, 7-Zip, or Total Commander etc.

Distributed as Freeware.

Download the Project BackUp v1.4 - cabpbsetup.exe (130 kb).

How to install?

Execute the downloaded cabpbsetup.exe. Program will be installed to selected location.

Uninstall is included.

As I said before (in Freeware tools preamble), "In our daily work, we are using some simple tools. Sometime it's hard to find exactly what you need - and more easily to create your own. These tools are really simple, tiny, and specialized for do only ONE function. You can use it free.". And it's true. Project Backup is one of the most useful tool in my work - I have running it a few times a day, and create backing up copies of my documents and source code files frequently. Each time when I have to rollback to previous version or find the old variant - I'll open an ARC folder on my computer and will find all of required information here. I have create several project files with Project BackUp program, and executing it daily.

To extract files from archive I recommending to use the specific tool such WinZIP or 7-ZIP (Project Backup can only to pack - no extracting is designed).

I've created so much back up files because:

• I need to save my works carefully;
• Sometime I have to roll back to previous version;
• Archiving is very simple with Project Backup :-)
